The Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica is one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet and its natural wonders are beyond belief. Biking under the lush green canopy offers frequent peeks at scores of monkeys and toucans and scarlet Macaws color the sky. A flutter of the irridescent blue morpho butterfly will dazzle you while riding along the lush dirt roads of this pristine spot. This Girlfriends Go trip is a wild mix of activity, experience, relaxation, and learning.

While biking is a common thread throughout all Girlfriends Go Tours, this tour will also include sunrise yoga, private surf lessons, sea kayaking, wild nature hikes, rappelling and tree climbing, bird watching, and exploring one of the most unspoiled places on Earth, Corcovado National Park.

April is a perfect time of year to bike on the Osa Peninsula. The heat of the dry season has passed and the rainy season has yet to arrive, but there have been enough light rains to make everything vibrantly green and pulsing with life. We will have some occasional afternoon thunderstorms that add to the dramatic beauty of this very special place.

We will also enjoy the bounty of tropical fruit and fresh catch from the ocean right outside our door. We’ll relax at the end of the day in our tropical surroundings while the waves lap just feet away. In addition to experiencing the local feel of this remote and pristine outpost on Costa Rica’s beautiful Pacific side, we’ll have Spanish language instruction and an education into the biological diversity of one of the most unique places in the world.
